General

ECU remapping (also called "chipping" or "tuning") is the process of modifying the software inside your vehicle's Engine Control Unit to optimise performance, fuel efficiency, or both. A modified map replaces factory-default parameters with values tailored to your goals.

When performed by experienced professionals using proven calibrations, remapping is safe. All our files are developed and tested on a chassis dynamometer to ensure they stay within safe operating limits. We recommend that your vehicle is in good mechanical condition before any remap.

This depends on your manufacturer and dealer. Some manufacturers may consider modifications grounds to void part or all of the warranty. We recommend checking with your dealer before proceeding. We are not responsible for warranty decisions made by manufacturers or dealers.

Ordering & File Delivery

Register an account on our file portal, upload your original ECU file, select the services you need, and complete payment. Our engineers will process your file and deliver it back through the portal.

Delivery time depends on the request. Complex requests or files outside our standard database may take longer. You will be notified via the portal when your file is ready.

We support original read files from all major tool brands. If you are unsure whether your file format is supported, contact our support team before placing an order.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, and cryptocurrency payments. All transactions are processed securely through our payment providers.

Services

Stage 1 tuning optimises your vehicle using the existing hardware — no physical modifications are required. Stage 2 tuning is designed for vehicles with supporting hardware modifications (such as an upgraded intercooler, exhaust, or intake) and delivers greater performance gains.

These are software modifications that deactivate specific emissions-related systems in the ECU. These services are intended for off-road, motorsport, or export use only. It is your responsibility to ensure compliance with local regulations before requesting these services.

Yes. We offer TCU (Transmission Control Unit) remapping for DSG, S-Tronic, PDK, and other automatic gearbox types. This can improve shift speed, raise torque limiters, and optimise shift points to match your engine tune.

Resellers & Business

Visit our Reseller Program page and submit an application. We review all applications. Approved resellers get access to wholesale pricing, a dedicated portal, and priority support.

Yes. Resellers can use our white-label file delivery system to offer tuning services under their own brand. Contact us for details on white-label options.

Support & Refunds

If you experience any issues with a delivered file, open a support ticket through the file portal with a description of the problem and a data log if possible. We will review and provide a corrected file at no extra charge.

Because tuning files are digital products custom-made for your vehicle, we generally cannot offer refunds once a file has been delivered. If there is a fault on our side, we will make it right. Please see our Terms of Service for full details.

You can reach us through the support ticket system in the file portal, via email at info@jbremap.com, or through WhatsApp.
